Our Mission

The mission of Light Path is to enhance the quality of life and preserve the dignity of individuals affected by the challenges of aging, as well as chronic, serious, or life-limiting illnesses—including but not limited to dementia, cancer, stroke, and end-of-life conditions.

With a primary initial focus on the Chinese-speaking community, the Organization is dedicated to supporting these individuals, as well as their long-term caregivers and families, through the provision of culturally and linguistically appropriate information, resources, education, and community-based support services.

The Organization primarily serves the Greater Seattle area, with the intent to expand its services throughout Washington State and national wide.

Our Vision

We believe:

Knowledge can replace fear with understanding.
Resources can provide guidance and hope.
Community can ease the burden of loneliness.
And love gives all of these their true power.

At Light Path, our mission is to create a pathway that connects resources, knowledge, and community—so that people living with dementia can be treated with dignity, families can find the support they need, and caregivers can move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.
